Yale Veritas 8mm is an up-cycled premium hitch cord manufactured by Yale Cordage. Using high quality Technora in the sheath along with random colored shorts of 5000 denier polyester, this cordage up-cycles the materials that would have previously been sent off to recycling, providing a net benefit to the environment. Because of this, the colors of Veritas are constantly changing!

Fantastic drt/srt hitchcord
Hand splices very easily as it is a double-braid. I use it with 11mm + 11.7 24-strand climbing ropes for both drt and srt mostly with a knot and it is very smooth to catch and release. This is my go-to friction hitch cordage.
Durable cordage
Cordage feels soft to the touch, easily hand sliceable, holds hitches quite well. This bites on 16 strand nicely. A sort of utility hitch cord, performed great for any installation: lanyard, advancing hitch cord, I’ve even spliced a 40” eye-to-eye for capturing the Stein 5:1 Mechanical Advantage. I will be splicing plenty of Veritas in the future.
It's nifty lookin
Yale Veritas is super purdy looking for sureee.. I only used for srt accessories.. but I dig it for sure. I bet it works wonders like it's colors for climbing. . Yup arbsessed.
