The Petzl Zigzag works with rope diameters from 11.5mm to 13mm so this rope would work being 11.7mm.
not mad it had to be cut
I got this rope because the boss didnt like it and gave it to me. I like the diameter, not too hard to grab but still not 1/2 inch. Yale Scandere runs decent on a rope runner and is durable. I spiked it more times than i can remember. Got it good the last time and had to cut it half. Not sad at all i had to do it. Its on the heavier side and does not knot well at all. Slipknots would not dress up and yosimte bowlins would occasionaly open up (not come undone, just not be as tight as i tied them). I used it because im cheap, not because i liked it.
Best Grip On the Market
I was looking for a rope with good grip, this I final found. From my research Yale Scandere is the only true 48 strand arborists rope available today. Plastic is innately a slick material, having more intersections of the material creates more resistance to surface travel, making for a better grip. A bit more stretchy than most kernmantle rope, but is not very noticeable in DRT. Branden was very helpful in his knowledge of ropes.

This is my monkey beaver rope..I use Yale Scandere for speed lining and it is dope....easy to get tight and perfect run with loopies
