Poor design
In my experience, this design is difficult to put on, not very comfortable, not easily-adjustable, and not great at creating a tending point for an ascender. So far, I prefer the Edelrid suspenders with a bungee for the knee ascender, multiple positioning points for tending on the chest, and the ability to use micro carabiners to easily put the suspenders on and off.
Disappointed
LOVE my tree motion saddle. I thought these would help with my SRT ascents and take a load off with a big saw on my hip for spar work. However, the lower hip attachment points, when adjusted comfortably, make it almost impossible to take the saddle on and off without having to loosen both of the clips (size 28-30 waist). You also have to attach the rear with an extra carabiner…. Behind your back?! I tried to just loosen everything up and slide it off my shoulders without unclipping the rear carabiner, but that made for a nightmare trying to put it back on after stuffing it in my gear bag (loops crossed and caught under leg loops and whatnot). The metal buckle to adjust the shoulder strap part slides loose when you put a good amount of force on it I.e. sitting back with your SRT system attached or actually hanging a big saw on my saddle. Overall I’m amazed with how disappointing the product is. I love tuefelberger products, but this one definitely fell short.
