Teufelberger Epicord 8mm Sewn Eye to Eye
Teufelberger's epiCORD 8mm hitch cord impresses with its kernmantle design. It comes with a tight cover of a polyester/Technora® mix that offers increased protection for the lightweight but heat sensitive core.
The polyester-Technora® cover is flexible enough to ensure good knotability. The core of the epiCORD is a blend of Technora® and Dyneema®, braided in a special balance. Therefore you can release the knot, whenever you need to.
Sewn eyes are stitched by the splicing team at Arbsession, Inc.

Customer Questions
The length of the prusik cord does depend on the hitch you plan to tie. But on a half inch line you might want to start with a 30" eye to eye hitch cord.
Won’t grab
Idk what Tefulberger was thinking selling this…. I don’t see how anyone would be happy with this stuff. It is way way too stiff, you have to fight it to get it to bite on 11.7 rope. Maybe it would be ok after being broken in, but I would not feel safe climbing on it period so it will never get broken in…. Buyer beware…. Total opposite of the 9.3 epicord which I very much enjoy.
