Samson 3/8" Tenex-TEC is a high-strength, low-stretch hollow braid rope designed with two ends per carrier. This construction allows for more rope surface conformance to objects being lifted than standard single braid constructions. It is Samthane coated to enhance wear life.

All purpose rigging line
Samson Tenex-TEC is a great all purpose rigging line, easy to splice and strong. However, since it is so soft stuff can get caught in between the fibers like twigs. Other than that it is a good rope though.
Great for anchors
When climbing trees at my house, I use this Samson Tenex-TEC to make anchors for the top of the tree, and it works great
Easy to splice
Love Samson Tenex-TEC for making slings. so easy to splice ultra slings. Don't love the dye all over my hands, but it fades quickly.
Strong, easy to work with!
I used the 3/4 Samson Tenex to splice an ultra sling. Really easy to splice, ended up fabbing my own fids from lengths of copper tubing. Soft and easily handled when setting up the sling, singed some of the fibers of the tail when the muffler on the front of the saw touched the sling. Will buy more for my next sling.
