My favorite.
20 + years in the trees and I’ve tried every carabiner. I like the look and feel over other green/grey products that rhyme with Eminem, but those carabiners get sticky gates the most frequently. Love when the patina shows on my Rock Os and the gate continually goes. Goes back into the locked position that is.
Single hand - Gate accessibility- Oval
The Rock Exotica rockO is by far one of the easiest to full open and clip to any system or mechanic without a second though feels very natural to pull down on the locking gate. The gate folds back slightly to the side creating a wider space. Recommend as a go to standard carabiner for use and function.
Most used carabiner
The Rock Exotica RockO Auto carabiner is one I would prefer to not climb without. It always has use whether it be for lanyard or MRS. Works great for keeping the ropes aligned where they should be.
My favorite
I'm biased towards rock exotica equipment generally, but I strongly believe the RockO to be the best "regular" carabiner on the market. Strong, exceptionally easy to open one handed, and a true round profile makes for a great tool. My favorite. Also, made in USA. Wish they came in brighter colors, but just a personal preference.
Best carabiner
These carabiners are great for virtually any aspect of climbing and I use them for many different things from attachments lanyards and hitch climber system. The Rock Exotica RockO carabiners are easy to use and seem very durable.

Favorite Carabiner
This is my personal favorite. It took me a little bit to get use to opening the gate as you have to pull it in down and twist, but now I'm all for it. The Rock Exotica RockO carabiner feels solid and confident in the hand. Expert use only.
