The Petzl Vertex Vent climbing helmet is very comfortable, thanks to its six-point textile suspension and Centerfit and Flip & Fit systems, which guarantee that the helmet fits securely on the head. The adjustable-strength chinstrap makes it ideal for both work at height and on the ground.
SENA installation: 1-3 days to complete. It will ship as soon as it's completed.
- Unit will be installed "Mic in Muff". 3M muffs also included (color may vary). See image in description below for an example of a "Mic in Muff" install.
- If you prefer standard mic location, please mention it in your order comments. We do not recommend this way and broken wires are not covered under warranty.

- Very comfortable:
- six-point textile suspension conforms perfectly to the shape of the head
- CENTERFIT feature allows perfect centering of the helmet on the head, thanks to its two side adjustment wheels
- FLIP&FIT system allows the headband to be positioned in a low position so it fits securely on the head. The system folds into the shell for easy storage and transportation
- comes with interchangeable standard comfort foam - Protection designed for work at height and on the ground:
- DUAL chinstrap allows the worker to adjust chinstrap strength in order to adapt the helmet to different environments: work at height (EN 12492) or on the ground (EN 397). The clip has two positions, corresponding to these two uses: high strength, limiting the risk of losing the helmet during a fall, and low strength, limiting the risk of strangulation if the helmet is snagged while the user is on the ground
- shock absorption achieved through deformation of the outer shell
- vent holes with sliding shutters allow the ventilation to be adjusted as needed, while wearing the helmet - Modular accessories:
- eye shield with EASYCLIP side attachment system for easy installation
- Petzl headlamp with mounts, or headlamp with elastic headband
- helmet protector keeps the shell free from soiling and paint splash
- nape protector provides effective sun and rain protection for the nape of the neck

Great helmets with excellent adjustability
Fitted with the 3M ear protectors and face shield, these helmet systems are great in the tree.
Comfortable helmet
If you find yourself still using an archaic hard hat look no further than the Petzl vertex vent for your upgrade. It is very comfortable, easily adjusting, and the price point isn't too bad either.

I'm a recreational arborist (meaning I do this for funsies). I was out playing in a tree and one of the swings went wide and I was worried I was going to smack my head so I realized I needed to make this as an investment in myself. The Petzl Vertex Vent is a comfortable helmet, with a sturdy way to integrate ear pro. It's the same way I've had ear pro mounted on my helmet at work for the last 10 years. I like that the strap for the back of your head folds in so the base of the helmet is flat. I mounted the 3m Peltor Optime as my second purpose in purchasing this was a platform for ear pro something I've been remiss in wearing. They work well even being a "competing" brand. Over all, if you're worried about your head and ears get this and some Optimes. It's good cheap protection that you really should spend for.
Great helmet for a great price!
Ive had 2 of these Petzl Vertex Vent helmets and have never had a problem with them. They are nice and wont get as smelly as the Kask brand. Petzl has been in the arb business for many years and continue to come out with good products!
Best bang for your buck
I've tried them all. Pfanner, Kask, Camp... and the Petzl Vertex Vent helmet is by far my favorite choice. Comfort, durability, and price make this my go-to helmet.
High quality helmet
Very comfortable, quick to adjust. I use this Petzl Vertex Vent helmet daily. There are lots of accessories for it like visors, mesh screen, lights, etc. High quality product.
Nice fit
This helmet fits pretty nicely. I wouldn’t mind if the chin strap were a little more adjustable, the bottom of my ear rubs the bottom of the “Y” opening that surrounds the ear. The vents help on the sweltering days, and the hi-viz has nice reflective stickers as well as glow in the dark inserts on the 4 “corners” of the Petzl Vertex Vent helmet.
My favorite helmet
I think this is a very comfortable helmet. The vents on this Petzl Vertex helmet do make a big difference. On a hot day you can sometimes actually feel the breeze blowing through the hole. The adjustment rollers on the sides are easy to get at and the buckle is easy to use.
