Singing Tree OG Rope Runner
by Kevin Bingham
The Original Rope Runner from Singing Tree is the GOAT of rope climbing devices. Allowing ascent and descent on a single line without bending the rope allows users to use a foot ascender with this 100% mechanical device.
This OG version is once again manufactured by CMI in the USA and is distributed by Arbsession. It features more refined rounded edges, but otherwise it is exactly like the original Rope Runner created by Kevin Bingham of Detroit, Michigan.

the OG
Fantastic device. Designed for SRT which is smooth and reliable. I occasionally run it in MRS with a cheese plate on the bridge - looks weird but it works. Most of my ropes are ~11.7 but it also held fine on 10mm. Midline attachable was a big selling point but I'm pretty sure one day I'll drop a slic pin out of the tree. Cheers to Kevin for reppin the 313. I would love an older model that said made in Detroit
What more can you ask for?
I love my OG rope runner. I think its my favorite device in my bag. Its smooth its consistent. Add the baby bump!!
Pretty nice
I’m a zigzag user mostly, but this is my back up if I need another climb line or my go to for srt, cheese grip is also nice accessory for it
Great device
I love this device my everyday never slips never fails and I've been climbing on the Singing Tree Rope Runner for 3 yrs I wish they would come out with an all orange one
As good as it gets
Excellent build quality, midline attachable, works with a multitude of the climbing ropes I have from 11mm to 12.5mm. Ability to add friction for smaller climb lines. Overall a great piece of equipment.
