Notch Steel Climbers
Notch Steel climbers are 100% focused on comfort. The curved steel shank is engineered to provide you with a more natual foot angle while you climb, which prevents pressure on sensitive parts of your legs, and noticeably decreases the amount of fatigue felt while climbing. The padded foam cuff wraps around the large, rigid leg support for all-day comfort, and the new dual-buckle strap system gives you better stability once you're strapped in.

Upgrade from Geckos
I’ve had the notch Geckos for a few years and didn’t know I needed an upgrade. The single point anchor for the lower straps on the Geckos caused the spur to move more at the foot. Also the strap would dig into the heel of both feet. 2 point anchor system is a game changer for sure. I tried the talons but didn’t want to break the bank. 4 stars because like others have said they’re a pain in the butt to put on. But so are the talons. Worth the money for the upgrade I needed. Never going back to a single anchor point for lower straps ever again.
Great climbers
I can only compare to some Klein climbers i've used before but these are more comfortable than those! These feel very sturdy and secure when you're up in the tree. If you can only buy one set of climbers i'd consider buying these.
Great climbers!
I’m a bigger climber so the 350 rating is great! These are sturdy easy to put on and comfortable while in the tree! I highly recommend
Comfortable to wear cumbersome to get on.
I really want to like these as I prefer gaffs with a heel and top of foot strap. These are comfortable to wear in the tree but due to the weight and the strap system used I give it 3 stars. The 2 metal pieces that hold the straps get in the way and you have to fight those plus the straps themselves while trying to put them on. I personally would not recommend them. If I were to buy another pair I would probably go with Distel’s at a similar price and better weight.
So much bang, so little buck
These are not the lightest of spurs, however... on par with comfort of any other gaff set I've ever used. I can stay in these most of a day with minimal pain and that's what counts imo. Notch knocked it out the park with these at this price, love em
Great ergonomics!
The angle change in the shank make these comfortable for all day use! The pads being replaceable is a big plus as well.
