ISC Compact Oval Supersafe Carabiner with Captive Bar
The ISC KL120 Compact Oval is a palm-size compact oval carabiner with an effective working length of only 70mm (2-3/4 inches), making it the ideal option for applications where a short and compact system is advantageous.
The KL120 is a true symmetrical oval, which is ideal when load centralization, correct orientation and optimal loading are the top priorities, to enable balance in a system.
The KL120 has a strong I-beam spine which blends in to softly rounded, rope-friendly baskets. The gates are fitted with sleek, streamlined barrels which are designed to reduce play in the barrel and optimise gate opening ergonomics. New CNC-machined grip detail replaces the knurled grip. The grip are has also been extended to improve user grip throughout the opening sequence of the gate.

Perfect gate stiffness
Like Cameron's review, I bought this as a cheaper alternative to DMM's perfecto captive, thinking the pin was removable. It is indeed a one and done situation which is the biggest downside. Plus side is the gate is both tighter and has a heavier spring than the perfecto does, which is a nice compromise.
Awesome carabiner
Only thing I wasn't aware of with this carabiner is the captive bar isn't threaded like others are and needs to be hammered in. Making it more of a permanent captive bar. Which is fine for what I'm attaching it too but just letting others know, it's not a threaded/removable piece once installed.
