Yale Imori 12mm Climbing Rope
Yale Imori (eee-mor-lee) means “Good Forest” in Japanese. Yale Cordage has incorporated a new type of taslanized (textured) fiber into the 12mm rope structure that provides bulk and, therefore, an enhanced grip for better ergonomics. This fiber is blended with a 100% solution-dyed lament polyester into the construction. This unique blend allows the fibers to be exposed on both the outer sheath and also on the inside of the sheath, providing more friction to the inner core, which helps to minimize excessive elongation while providing superior unsurpassed grip for the climber.
Please Note: The cover on most new double braid ropes will stretch during the first few weeks of use. The excess cover should be cut off. For this reason we don't recommend putting two eyes on a brand new double braid rope.

Yes if you are looking for a custom lanyard to be made simply add the rope snap you would like to use to a cart. Select this rope and the 1ft (by the foot) enter the length in the quantity and select the type of splice you would like with the radio buttons. In the order comments before check out state you would like the snap to spliced onto this specific lanyard. If we have any questions we will call.

This rope is great in the hand, it feels amazing and grippy while being pliable and taking knots very well! I use it with a Rope Runner Vertec and ISC Reflex. My new favorite rope for sure.

Yale Imori is the best drt rope to date
Excellent hand!
I run this drt and as a long positioning lanyard and love it. Yale Imori frays up quicker than other ropes on natural crotches, but if you’re able to run it with a friction saver like the arbsession supersmooth, this rope runs as good as the courant stuff and feels ridiculously soft and grippy in the hand.
