So the difference between those two bars is just the bar and chain themselves. We put both on a scale and with our scale they showed the exact same weight. This isn't obviously correct but with the scale we have it couldn't tell a difference. So I think we are talking only a few ounces different.
So nice
This saw is such a great saw. Super smooth. Great power. Sounds good. Easy to start. Looks cool. I have run mine hard and still performs like new. Give it time, this saw is on its way to becoming legendary.
My favorite saw
I have never had an issue with this saw. I run a 20 inch bar on it with a muffler mod cause I dont want to climb with a big saw. It's awesome and cuts fast. Why climb with a 70cc when this can do the job?
Great upgrade from Stihl
Came from Stihl 026 Pro for 15 years…. Enter Husky 550xp. Wow. Starts, runs, pulls into the wood and throws the chills without bogging. Well balanced and plenty of power. Smooth and vibration free compared to my old saw. Looking forward to many years with this bad boy. Arbsession was great to work with too! Thanks for the good service and quality products.
Best firewood saw made
I have been a hardcore Stihl guy for 5 years now. I recently tried the 550xp out while cutting some firewood with some friends. Once I used this thing I just can't go back. The anti-vibe on these husqvarna saws are an absolutely game changer! You can run this super light but super strong running saw all day and your hands won't be vibrated to death like some other saws. Highly recommend any of the new husqvarna lineup!!
