FTC Argiope Evo 11.7mm was the first tree climbing rope ever to be spliced with a splice thin enough to go easily through mechanical devices such as the FTC Freexion, Petzl ZigZag or ART Spider Jack. The slim splice is a real innovation that helps arborists in their everyday work.
FTC Argiope EVO 11.7mm is 100% polyester and has become a classic among climbing ropes. It was tested during expeditions in the rainforest and by field testers in Europe, and has been chosen and confirmed by tree climbers all over the world. Polyester allows the diameter to be constant over time with no swelling. Its thick 16-strand cover provides a great resistance to abrasion and a long lifespan.
Its elongation is limited for a great balance between static and dynamic. You will not feel like climbing on a wire. It’s the perfect rope for both SRT and DRT.
