DMM Kinisi Max Harness
The DMM Kinisi Max is a modular and hard wearing sit harness, ideal for use across a range of tree care, aerial and rescue applications. No shortage of experience and heritage has gone into creating the design. Treemagineers have been at the forefront of professional product development for nearly 20 years, and DMM has been with them on every step of this journey. For the Kinisi, Treemagineers have pushed harness design to a new high.
To bring the design to life and maintain only the best build quality, DMM has evolved from supplying hardware to producing the complete harness at their new production facility in North Wales.

Details
- The patented rope bridge adjuster provides easy configuration for comfort and optimised positioning.
- The rear restraint point on the back of the harness is easy to locate and doubles as a secure attachment point for a chainsaw lanyard.
- The two side rings provide work positioning attachment points.
- Two forward Ds provide suspension attachment points and can be positioned to suit your center of gravity for comfort and manoeuvrability.
- Sliding aluminium buckles allow for smooth and hard wearing adjustment.
- Moveable webbing stoppers to let you run personalised webbing lengths without compromising safety.
Maximum comfort and support. Webbing is woven through a supporting material and then padded with foam, providing comfort by spreading the user's weight over a large surface area. This structural webbing is then slimmed down where bulk would inhibit movement.
Designed to last. All hardware is optimised to be textile friendly and reduce webbing wear.
Replaceable components for enhanced lifespan. Users have the option to replace the pads, elastickeeper loops, leg elastics and loops, rear elastics, riser webbing, bridges, and bridge hardware.
Independently evaluated to the performance requirements of the following international standards:
- ASNZ 1891–Pass
- ANSI/ASSP-Z359.12-2019–Pass
- CAN/CSA-Z259.12–Pass
- ASTMF0887-20–Pass except the structural webbing is under 44.5mm and the harness has a rear attachment point.
- CSA Z259.1-05 PD saddle–Pass except the structural webbing is under 41mm.
Customisable rope and webbing bridges. Available in a variety of different terminations and lengths.
Removeable webbing stoppers. Webbing lengths can be shortened to the user's requirements.
Bosun Chair compatible. Eyelets on the forward Dscan becombined with the Bosun Chair kit.
Attachment slots for non-PPE upper assemblies.
DMM harness accessories. Pre-cut holes allow use of XSRE carabiners, Stowaways, and the Caiman.
Multiple storage solutions. Gear brackets allow use of the Vault range and Parking Lot.
Harness attachments for restraint according to EN358. Rear restraint point can be used with classic DMM hardware such as the PerfectO, Ultra O, and AmericanO.
Harness attachments for work positioning according to EN358. Side rings can be used with classic DMM hardware such as the PerfectO, Ultra O, and AmericanO.
Harness attachments for suspension and work positioning according to EN813. Forward Ds are compatible with DMM connectors. Rope bridges work with a range of hardware including Anchor Rings, UltraO, Axis Swivels or the Rigger Pulley. Webbing bridges work with Anchor Rings, AmericanO, Compact Shackle, and Axis Swivels.

Best harness on the market
I’ve had the tree motion notch catylist weaver Denali and I can personally say this Kinisi Max harness has better comfort by a long shot I’ve always had back pain doing big pines and having pressure on my back for long periods not anymore with the kinisi max night & day difference & the adjustable rope bridge is a absolute game changer never imagined I’d use it so much. Doing srt and shorting up my system or negative rigging a spar and sucking everything nice and tight so if I do gaff out my rope grabs instantly having that comfort reduced fatigue by not being so tense and the storage system they have is unmatched there’s infinite amount of ways you can arrange your set up I’ve never had so much fun buying different hardware and looking forward too my next workday with this harness as the others harnesses I should also note I had a spinal fusion on my lower back so being comfortable is a must and I didn’t think it was possible I just figured I’d have to deal with it butt not anymore dmm has definitely raised the bar with comfort and functionality
Comfort is king
Do I need an adjustable bridge? No If I purchased this would I use that adjustable bridge? Every chance I get. I find that I am using the bridge way more than I thought. Fully extended out for ascending to get way behind on a zigzag giving 95% of your strides as a gain with very little set back. Pivoting to my sides and now my zigzag is farther away to reach, I simply pull my bridge closer. Every few climbs I find another reason to love my DMM Kinisi saddle.
