Did you know you could send us your used rope to have a hand splice or sewn eye added? Just select which type of splice you are looking to have done. Enter the number of splices you need.
Then mail us the rope with any specific notes you would like to add.
Please note that not all used rope can be hand spliced or sewn. Sewn terminations can only be done in 1/2" diameter rope and smaller.
- Some static ropes cannot be hand spliced.
- Petzl ropes cannot be sewn or hand spliced.
- Petzl products cannot be sewn onto products (Zillon)
- Splife is not allowed on used rope.
- The rope must be still in good clean shape.
- Certain ropes require different splices and may require additional charges.
NOTE: We will contact you if the rope is not in a good condition to be spliced or sewn!

The standard large eye for a 9mm cord would be about 6" which is measured on the inside of the eye. That being said we can splice it to the length that is asked.
Excellent work, quick turnaround
I had the pros at Arbsession replace my splice on a used, but not super dirty Tachyon. I’d damaged the end that originally had a spLIFE. They installed a nice tight hand splice on the clean end. Turn around was super quick. The longest part of the process was the shipping I paid for getting the rope to them. I 100% will use the used rope splicing option when I damage a hand or stitched splice in the future.

If you can think up a rigging build and it requires a certain rope with a certain length maybe some added hardware, call the splicing department and talk it out with a splicer. I had the pleasure of working with Brandon. He kept Me up to date of what he had done, when cordage would arrive in their stock, all billing questions. When my final product arrived it was exactly what I wanted and the quality is top notch. I only use Arbsession now and couldn’t be any happier with the employees who handle the day to day tasks. I’ve ordered many ropes from these guys. They are true professionals and the work speaks for itself in their splicing. Heat shrink stays on and splice hand/sewn hold up. I cannot say the same for their competitors their work hasn’t fared as well. SEND THESE GUYS YOUR ROPE ALREADY!!!!!
