if you need a tiny rated 'biner you can't beat it. no hook on the nose so it slips off your throw bag or belt loop or whatever without snagging. very cute.
Clearly marked, 1/2 in gate opening
Nice shape and contouring on the ends, definitely looks nicer in person and feels quality. Clearly engraved "NOT FOR HUMAN SUPPORT <> 4kN" on the spine with a printed logo on the opposite side. The clearance is 1/2" with the gate fully open. I will be testing this out against a bolt snap as a connection between my chest harness and hitch climber since larger carabiners take up too much space. The micro carabiner was listed as a featherweight at just 5g; these are actually double that at .37oz/10.5g but still nice and light.
Way nicer than the picture
I was expecting them to be adequate, but they look and feel way nicer than I anticipated. They're also literally the lightest ones available, and are rated for the same as the ones that cost twice as much. Why wouldn't you pick these over the competition? I can't come up with literally any reasons.
