The HRC ThermaShield Prusik features an extremely heat resistant cover made of Technora® and spun Nomex®.
The ThermaShield Prusik is an extremely heat resistant hitch cord from TEUFELBERGER.
The core of Vectran® as well as the cover of a Technora®/Normex® construction ensure maximum heat protection, high abrasion resistance and functionality. Moreover, the Vectran® core provides for an optimal and high strength as well as a low stretch of the rope. The HRC ThermaShield Prusik also offers great ease of handling and maximum grip, which means that it stays supple in use.

Most Pedictable hitch
Works well right out of the package and lasts a long time. They get quite fuzzy but that helps them glide smoothly while not slipping when quickly weighted. White color looks nice when new and makes seeing glazing simple.
Splicing department, well done.
I opted to try a 26” sewn eye to eye because it was on sale and I was not disappointed. The splicing department stitched it up fresh with my order number attached and the taper of the eyes cradle the perfecto of my Caralink v2, well, perfectly! Well done y’all!

great prussik
this is one of my top two to use for prussiks. Teufelberger HRC grabs well once its broke in and ties nicely. I like that it is white so you can see better when inspecting it. it can take the heat.
Won’t quit
HRC is the longest lasting hitch cord I’ve used. Can be a bit grabby in the rain but that’s better than slipping. I try others but always come back to this (for climbing and lanyard).
