Great pants but surprisingly hot
I bought these climbing pants for one reason. Maximum breathability in the summer months when it’s 86° with 60 to 80% humidity. Now I only wear them if it’s below 70°F. These are like my go to winter Tree pants you would think given the name you would be able to tell they were breathing, but they get me super sweaty. I never feel any airflow and they will be soaking wet with sweat by the time I’m done working. They are great pants, comfortable, durable and adjustable. It’s a little upsetting. They don’t come with suspender buttons like all the other climbing pants they make but overall as long as you know what you’re getting they’re not bad.
Comfortable but hot
These pants are decent. I was a little upset that they don’t come made for suspenders. Needing to wear a belt with climbing pants has always been annoying. But my main complaint is on days that it’s 70 or 80° the pattern in the knee and lower leg gets really hot it’s sweaty. Seems like 65° and lower they are very comfortable.
Durable pants
Heavy duty pants that can take the wear and tear of arborist work.
