Better than a micro
The lower micro carabiner on my knee ascenders kept getting deformed and eventually failing to the point of the gate not opening. I have replaced them with these as they are still small and light but so much stronger. No issues since. Have used them on chainsaw lanyards a swell and works great.
Great for climbing saw
The PenSafe Arborist Tool Tether Carabiner is a little smaller than a DMM Perfect-O but obviously not rated for climbing. Perfect for a saw lanyard. I keep one on each of my climbing saws to make changing them out super seamless.
I like it.
Nice little piece of gear. A little bigger than Xsre but it’s lockingish. Lol great for pulling rope up.
